Hat running on raspberry pi with Ubuntu

I am interested in purchasing MCC 118/128: Voltage Measurement DAQ HAT for Raspberry Pi My Raspberry pi is running on Ubuntu.  Can I use this board or does the operating system of the raspberry pi have to be ubuntu

Hello,

The operating system must be Raspbian to install the MCC 118/128 support. If you must use Ubuntu, you could switch to using a USB device and our UL for Linux driver. https://github.com/mccdaq/uldaq. Here's a list of the supported devices:
