Is is possible to output an LVDS signal on the JXADC header on Nexys 4ddr (or Nexys 4)? This header is designed primarily for analog input, but the reference manual states that the pins can be used for "digital input-output" (which doesn't rule out the possibility of producing LVDS output).
I took some LVDS output code that works just fine on the Nexys 3 VHDC header and adapted it appropriately for the Nexys 4ddr, but despite a number of attempts, I was never able to get LVDS output on the JXADC header. I could produce common mode digital output on the JXADC header with no difficulty of course. My feeling is that it is not possible to produce LVDS output on JXADC header, but perhaps someone is more knowledgeable.
