Roger Lo
Hi everyone, Our customer would like to use both C100HD50-3 and C100MMS-2M serially connected with PCI-DAS6071. In regard to the number of their pins, it is possible. But I cannot confirm the pin definition. Could it work if they are connected serially? Thank you
0 Fausto
Hello @Roger Lo. Please refer to page 13 of the PCI-DAS6071 User's Guide for diagrams of both cables. https://www.mccdaq.com/PDFs/manuals/pci-das6071.pdf The C100MMS-2M cable has two 100-pin male end connectors. The 100-pin connector on the C100HD50-3 cable is a male end also. The PCI-DAS6071 has a female connector. A user could connect the C100MMS-2M cable to the PCI board and then add a gender changer to connect the C100HD50-3 cable to the opposite end of the C100MMS-2M cable. Why would you have this configuration? It is not recommended. The C100MMS-2M cable is shielded, while the C100HD50-3 cable is unshielded. Regards, Fausto

The user would like to take C100MMS-2M as an extended-length cable. But now we could not find the mating connector for C100MMS-2M. It should be a D-SUB 100pin with 2 rows female connector. In case we found and purchased the wrong connector, could you please tell us what the PN of the mating connector for C100MMS-2M? Thank you so much
