Generated a clock on pin DIO and start separately a sequence by a trigger signal

Hello everyone,

I work with the ADP 3450 and I have a question : can I simulated a clock with the pattern genrerator continually and just start to emulate a bus of data when I receive a trigger signal ?

I can use the software Waveforms or use the python library.

I use the trigger 1 with a button as trigger signal.

I have already create a bus and the clock on the same pattern generator but I can't separate them.

Unfortunately no.

You can have multiple Pattern Generators open but only one can control the digital-out device resource at a time.
In the device there is one digital-out instrument which controls all the digital outputs.
The DIOs are multiplexed in the device and the StaticIO (digital-io) has priority over the digital-out but the digital-io only provides static output control.

All the Pattern generator signals start at the same time.
You could specify a delay for some, like for the bus.
You could use the Trigger IO as permanent reference clock output, 5MHz-50MHz
