steven balicanta
I have a JTAG-SMT2 programming module directly installed (daughter board) on my PCBa that has the Artix FPGA. Do I just connect the micro USB port (using a micro USB to USB A) to my programming PC? Thx, STB
0 JColvin
Hi @steven balicanta, Provided that the pins between the JTAG SMT2 and the downstream FPGA are properly connected, then yes, you can simply use a microB USB cable to connect to your host PC and then configure the Artix FPGA. Xilinx will offer to install the Digilent cable drivers as part of the Vivado/Vitis installation, though you can also get the drivers "from source" so to speak and see that the JTAG device is detected by installing Digilent's Adept software: https://digilent.com/reference/software/adept/start. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JColvin
