Tiago Goncalves
Hi, I have a use case where I need to distinguish between two HS3 programmers. Both are detected with the name JtagHs3. Is there a way to change this string in non-volatile memory?
0 JColvin
Hi @Tiago Goncalves, Yes it is possible to change the user name of the device, though I do not think this user name shows up in the Vivado Hardware Manager, at least from what I understand; I am not sure if that is an issue for you. Regardless, this can be done through Adept SDK (https://digilent.com/reference/software/adept/start) with the DmgrSetInfo command, where you will want to change dinfoUsrName. As per dpcdecl.h, this value is limited to 16 bytes. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JColvin
