0 attila
Hi @tatosa The 3.19.17 should have fixed Windows 7,8 driver installation. Do you get any error during installation ? In the following log some warning codes may be listed, like h103 newer driver already installed. Does Windows Device Manager show any error for “USB Serial Converter” (AD2) ? 0 tatosa
Hi Attila, I have always installed the previous versions in D:/. I always uninstalled the old one before installing the new version. There was never a problem. I did this method for version 17 as well. The software installed apparently without error, but could not find the AD2 unit. It was listed as an unknown device in Device Manager. I did a test, I left version 15 in d:/. The driver is visible in the Device Manager (USB Serial Converter). Then I installed 17 in c:/. This is how 17 works. Something is wrong when I install it by myself. 0 attila
Szia @tatosa Could you try installing the driver manually with the following admin command ? PnPUtil -i -a *.inf or as the installer calls one by one to have individual status PnPUtil -i -a FTDIBUS.inf (Attila from Szekelyudvarhely)
0 tatosa
Hello Attila, First of all, thank you for your help so far. I started everything from scratch. I uninstalled the Digilent software from the c: and d: drives. I only installed version 17 on c:. I left everything as default, only unchecked the ADP5000 driver. The installation behaved differently than yesterday. It already threw up errors during the installation, but I sent it on. The drivers are not installed, nor can they be seen in the device manager. I did the manual install, seems OK. The reality is that the program still does not see AD2. There were no changes in the device manager either. There are no problems with version 15 in this respect. Üdv, Attila
0 attila
Szia @tatosa I don't know what does that error code indicate but the latest version returns on using dpinst for Windows 7,8. I hope it works now.https://forum.digilent.com/topic/8908-waveforms-beta-download/ Thank you for the observation and your help.
