CDMM
I have a digital discovery for which I am required to find and record the firmware version. I have seen a reference to autoupdating: https://digilent.com/reference/test-and-measurement/analog-discovery-pro-3x50/firmware-update. If that is also applicable to the digital discovery, is there a repository or a way a specific version can be used/flashed?
0 attila
Hi @CDMM No. The Digital Discovery and Analog Discovery 1, 2 have no mcu/flash only eeproms storing usb ids and calibration. The device fpga is programmed by the software on connection, so the latest firmware is included in the latest installer/setup. For ADP3X50 the WF app can update the standard firmware stored in qspi. This also included in the installer and the app prompts if update is needed/availabe. The linux stored in emmc can be reflashed from usb stick or applications updated manually digilent.adept.runtime...armhf.deb, digilent.waveforms...armhf.deb or digilent.waveforms.adp3X50...armhf.deb without GUI
