1.8V I/O digital and analog logic analyzer

Victor - Covarians

Question

Hello,

We would like to know if it's possible to achieve the following I/O configuration with the Analog Discovery 2 :

- 5 digital inputs (1.8V)

- 2 digital outputs (1.8V)

- 1 UART channel (Rx/Tx, 1.8V)

- 1 I²C channel (1.8V)

- 4 analog voltage inputs (1.8V to 3.3V)

- 1 programmable power supply (2.5V to 3.3V)

Thank you.

Hi @Victor - Covarians

On the AD2:
- 16 DIOs are 0/3.3V with ~1.5V input logic threshold. It has option (dedicate configurations) for ~0.5 input logic threshold but the output is always 0/3.3V
- has 2 differential Oscilloscope inputs
- it has one positive and one negative supply +/-0.5 to +/-5V, 700mA 0.5-2.1W

The ADP3450:
- 16 DIOs with adjustable voltage 1.2-3.3V
- has 4 Oscilloscope inputs
- it has digital voltage output, up to 300mA

Logic Analyzer can capture and interpret multiple protocols for any device.
Protocol tool allows one protocol to be used at a time (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN...) With the Script tool or custom application the protocols can be sequentially used.
