DAQami Crashes on Startup

This morning I was made aware that one of our copies of DAQami is not working. Upon trying to open the software the splash screen will appear for a few seconds, and then we are left with only the desktop. We have tried several fixes ourselves such as restarting the PC, Updating windows, and reinstalling the software. Is there any information you may be able to provide that will assist us? I would like to add that we used this software on the same computer with no issues last week.

Assuming the device that DAQami talks to is in working order, it could be corrupt daqami.mcfg file. In your documents folder, there should be a Measurement Computing folder and in it a DAQami folder and a daqami.mcfg file. Rename or delete daqami.mcfg and the next time you run it, DAQami will create a new one.

Hello @Trevor Wolf.

If you recently installed DAQami on a Windows 11 system (or upgraded to Windows 11), then you need to update InstaCal with its latest version.  Link to the latest version  of InstaCal:  https://www.mccdaq.com/downloads/InstaCal/icalsetup.exe

DAQami installs a version of InstaCal which is not compatible with Windows 11.
