QNN
Hello, I would like to connect these two load cells to the USB 2416-4A0. We are planning to use these in conjunction with 4x or 5x type K thermocouple. Please verify if this is feasible. If so, what is the recommended connection Thank you LC8250.pdf Load Cell.pdf
0 DAQman
Hello, It is possible to connect two load cells and a handful of thermocouples to the USB-2416-4AO. To avoid creating a ground loop, use one power supply to power the load cells and use ungrounded thermocouples. The load cells need 10 volts excitation (user supplied), which will result in a maximum signal voltage of 20mV. To determine this, multiply the load cell sensitivity (2mV/V) by the excitation voltage. The actual sensitivity will provided with the load cell on the calibration certificate. 0 QNN
Thank you @JRys Can I use the USB-2416-4AO to power the two load cells? If so, what is the recommended connection?
0 DAQman
The USB-2416-4AO does not have a 10 volt supply pin. If you're thinking about using the 4 analog outputs, they are rated at 3.5mA which is not enough for the load cell. Best regards, John
