USB-2416-4AO, no digital output

Hello,

 

I'm trying to control a relay which requires a digital signal. I have a DAQ-2416-4AO which I'm trying to control through MATLAB. The issue is whenever I try to define a digital channel MATLAB gives me an error saying that the board does not support digital output and indeed when I check InstaCal digital output does not appear to be available. Anyone faced this issue?

To utilize the digital IO of the USB-2416 series, I recommend you try DAQami.  It is free and included with  https://mcc.download.ni.com/downloads/MCCDaqCD/mccdaq.exe

Measurement Computing does not offer support for MATLAB.  Please contact The Mathworks directly as they wrote their own interface.
