analog discovery 2 Analog Discovery 2 Micro USB jack repair / part number

Hello,

I have an Analog Discovery 2 with micro USB jack and unfortunately the micro USB jack has issues with the contact. Does somebody know where I can obtain a replacement micro USB jack or its part number, so that I can repair it? I'll greatly appreciate any help.

Isn't the problem a short micro-USB tip that doesn't fit all the way in and can't make proper contact? Have you tried using the original cable or other cables you have at hand?

thank you very much for your very quick and detailed reply! I'll try to find a similar one.

I have just tried the original cable again, but with that one it doesn't work at all anymore, the device it is not recognized at all, even if I move the connector a bit. With another no-name cable which I'm using, it's recognized successfully in Waveforms, but as soon as I move the connector a little bit, the connection is lost.

Did you try cleaning the receptacle by blowing or with a fine brush ?
