WebDAQ 316 Python interfacing

I have a WebDAQ 316 that I am able to access using ethernet and the IP address, however I would like to also log data with it using Python.

I have found some resources on your website and I have been able to install and import the packages, but most if it is for interacting with a device via USB. Do you have code open source code that showcases how to connect to my device via ethernet?

There is no USB B connector on a WebDAQ. It can only be accessed via network connection either direct connect or via your network. So I think you are using the wrong software.

To access a WebDAQ you use the REST api.  it is located https://www.mccdaq.com/downloads/WebDAQ/REST-API/1.0.0/
