Running old QuickDAQ version on Windows 10

jkr

Question

My organization is eliminating computers running Windows 7 and moving to Windows 10. We are running QuickDAQ software, version 3.7.0.46 on one of these Windows 7 PCs. I installed the same version on a Windows 10 computer but it is not able to open. I have tried running it in Windows 7 and Windows XP (SP3) compatibility mode, but it is still not able to launch. Does anyone have suggestions to get this version of QuickDAC running on Windows 10, or will we need to upgrade to a newer version of the software? Thank you for any advice you are able to provide.

Regards,

JK

Have you tried checking with the software manufacturer to see if they have any updated versions of the software that are compatible with Windows 10? That might be your best bet. If you're stuck with this version, there are a few things you can try to get it to work, such as running it in compatibility mode or using a virtual machine with an older version of Windows.
