LGR-5327 not keeping time when powered off

I have an LGR-5327 which is not keeping time when powered off. I took the original button cell battery out and it was reading 0v. I replaced that battery with a new one, confirmed it is outputting 3.2V, and made sure it is in the correct orientation. The DAQ is still not keeping time after it has been unplugged. Please advise

Figured it out. The tolerance on the battery holder it to tight so the battery is not able to fully seat. Added a washer below the battery so the negative side of the battery touches the contact
