Various problems in installing the Waveform Software and connection Discovery 2 with PC

Hi,

I got a new discovery 2 and when I tried to get hands on with it, I installed both 32 and 64 bit software. But it in control panel it shows as it is not properly installed. In USB devices AD doesn't appear and when from Waveforms device manager I searche for connected devices, Discovery 2 isn't found. please help.

Hi @Pawan

The software is probably installed fine, the red x is in the uninstaller icon.
Try using the original USB cable the device came with or other cables you have at hand, try using other computer port and/or hub, try another computer.

Thanks a lot for your kind help. I struggled a lot but nothing helped. One day fortunately I installed Adept software seprately, not from Waveforms and then Discovery 2 hardware was detected. Later I installed Waveforms and then it worked. May be with Windows 11 this is the usual solution.
