How to get Scope trigger time delta in waveforms?

Hello,

I am trying to see if there is a way in waveforms software with analog discovery 2 to record the time different between last time scope channel was triggered and current time it triggered.

Hi @dpate

The AD2 uses software timer to report the absolute trigger positions.

Newer devices with larger FPGA (ADP3X50, EclypseZ7) use hardware timer with system frequency resolution.

 

With AD2 (or any other device) you could drive Trigger IO with the Scope Trigger Detector, loop this to a DIO pin, use the Logic Analyzer with Record and data compression to capture up to 256MiS at max rate/resolution (100MHz).
