IOtech personal daq55 with instacal?

Lachie

Question

I am using a personal daq55 and trying to use it with Labview. To do this i need Instacal to find the device. I can see the device with windows device manager and other programs such as personal daqview can see the device but instacal can't seem to find it. Are there any solutions to this?

Hello,

InstaCal does not work with the IOtech PersonalDaq/55, which is a discontinued item.

IOtech did have 32-bit LabVIEW support but it is very old. Many years ago, one of the support engineers saved it using LabVIEW 8.2 so that it could be loaded in a newer versions. There is little support for it and I don't know if it can be loaded into the current version of LabVIEW. For a little more information see the following knowledge base article: https://kb.mccdaq.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50384.aspx

Best regards,
John
