Waveforms control Servo

 Hello everybody,

I just wanted to ask you, whether it is possible to control a MicroServo SG90 via the Pattern Generator of the Waveforms Software.

So basically, the Servo needs a PWM of 50 Hz and so it would be quite easy to generate a PWM pattern. But unfortunately, the Servo does not move. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @lokobob99

Is the servo supplied properly?
Do you have common ground between the device and the servo?
The pulse length should be between 1-2ms which is 5-10% duty at 50Hz

I tried it out, but still no movement from the servo whatsoever.

What do you mean exactly by common ground? Right now I have one ground cable connected from the arduino to the breadboard. From the breadboard, I then connect one cable (which is connected to the ground line from the breadboard) to the servo and one cable to the black ground cable of the analog discovery 2.

Maybe there is something wrong with that.

Ok nevermind, it worked.

I just had an Arduino Script running, which kind of blocked the Servo.
