Analog Discovery 2 not working - request RMA

Question

After several months on the shelf I plugged in my Analog Discovery 2 - it is not working. Waveforms will not recognize it. Device Manager does not see it (Windows 10). I read the forum threads: tried multiple micro USB cables, multiple ports, multiple computers, with and without a 5V 3A power supply. No LED lights. Device not recognized by Waveforms or Windows.

Purchased from SparkFun in November 2021. I have receipt for online purchase. Urgently need a replacement.

Hi @Michael Taylor,

It sounds like you done and checked everything that I would recommend that you attempt to try (the cables, ports, other computer, external power supply, and seeing if the OS can detect the device), so that indicates to me that there is some sort of manufacturing defect.

Since you purchased the board from SparkFun, you will need to work with them directly for their own RMA process (Digilent is not able to do this for you, outside of recommending that the board be replaced).
