Notarobot
Hello to all, We would like to use a quantity of MCC OEM boards designed to operate under Raspberry Pi control. At this moment RpI are out of stock everywhere. Can anybody suggest replacement MCU? We want to avoid Linux and Python. RpI consumption is too high for use due to quantity. 0 Jeffrey
Hi, if you want to avoid Linux and Python, then you will need to run Windows OS as the only other option. Unfortunately, Measurement Computing does not make recommendations as to make and model of computers used with our products, with the exception of the DAQHats (mcc 118, etc.). 0 Notarobot
Hi Jeffrey, Sorry I should have mentioned that we are considering DAQHat, specifically, MCC 134 OEM. The only acceptable DAQ controller for us is ARM from either STM or NXP. We can develop such controller in-house but it's more efficient to buy COTS. Thank you! 0 Jeffrey
Measurement Computing provides support for all DAQHats exclusively on Raspberry Pi models with the 40-pin GPIO header (not the original Pi 1 A or B with the 26-pin header.) At this time, no other computers / controllers have been tested, nor are there plans to. As the software is written for Linux, it is open source. At your effort, you can edit or modify the software to meet your needs. However Measurement Computing does not provide any support in this use case.
