Hi to all !! Very interesting device the analog discovery 2!

I'm trying to install the SW on inux (linux mint- debian) but I have following error when I start Waveforms:

Jun 22 16:39:56 PCM2053 kernel: [  758.274008] waveforms[4035]: segfault at ffff80424a384d01 ip 00007fbdb4a2b35d sp 00007fbdb5c7b230 error 5 in libftd2xx.so.1.0.4[7fbdb4a21000+2c000]

 

If the Analog discovery 2 is disconnected the Waveforms SW starts and saay: No device connected

someone has an idea how to solve the problem?

Hi,

in the meantime the SW is running.  But sometimes I have to start it twice before I see the windows opening.

Information about my system:

Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela

Linux version 3.13.0-85-generic

Hello,

The WaveForms is working for me without any problems on a clean Linux Mint.

I just notice that an old library (libftd2xx.so.1.0.4) is loaded and failing on your system.
Try updating the Adept Runtime https://reference.digilentinc.com/digilent_adept_2. The last version contains libftd2xx.so.1.2.2
