Genesys ZU FMC connector

Hi,

in the next days i will receive a Genesys ZU 5EV board but now i have to develop an adapter for the J4 FMC connector.

Which is the orientation of this socket? Is it available a layout showing it?

I see on this socket a 12V power supply. Which is the current amount i may sink from it?

Hi @Massimo Liggio,

The FMC connector is oriented such that C1 of the LPC FMC is located in the lower-left, near the dot on the silkscreen. I've attached a picture of this (taken from the Resource Center) for visual reference.

The 12 V rail on the FMC may supply up to 1 A of current to the attached mezzanine card, as per this section in it's Reference Manual: https://digilent.com/reference/programmable-logic/genesys-zu/reference-manual#low-pin_count_fmc_connector.
