I am a newbie to the forum, and python programming/scripting in general.
I have recently purchased an Analogue Discovery 2, and the unit is set-up and running manually through Waveforms - so far its great!!
A key part of my operation is to measure the frequency of an incoming clock stream. I have achieved this by feeding it the scope, and using "Measure Frequency" - I've even printed it out using a script.
I would now like to recreate the "project" in python, and embed it into a larger system. So the question I have,
"Is it possible to read frequency directly from the AD2 Scope using a call with the SDK"?
If not, I assume I will need to capture a sample stream of data, and then analyse the data to extract frequency.
