MLee
I'm trying to make an application in Vitis HLS (Edge detection), but I can't find my board in the boards section. I want to add the Zybo Z7 10. How do I go about adding the board and do I even need the board?
0 JColvin
Hi @MLee, I haven't worked with Vitis HLS so I don't any have experience to go off of, but based off Xilinx's documentation here, https://docs.xilinx.com/r/en-US/ug1399-vitis-hls/Creating-a-New-Vitis-HLS-Project, you will want to use the Zybo Z7-10 so that when you get the material ported to hardware Vitis HLS knows what specific architecture is being used. It doesn't look like there is a download button to get the board files from the Xilinx board store like there is in Vivado, so you would either need to go into Vivado and download the Zybo Z7-10 board files while creating a project, or you can you manually install the board files that Digilent hosts on our own GitHub by following the our guide here: https://digilent.com/reference/programmable-logic/guides/installing-vivado-and-vitis#install_digilent_s_board_files. Thanks, JColvin
