Creating a sin wave in "custom" with a random frequency between two limits

Hi all, 

I'm still new to this software but I've been trying to create a sin wave in the "custom" option with a random frequency in between 78.68Hz and 88.68Hz.

My attempt to create this signal can be seen below however the output looks incorrect. I'm not really sure what the format of writing a script in this box works and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide input as to how I would create this signal using the script box.

The easies is to generate such using frequency modulation in the device.
+-5Hz/83.68Hz = FM of 5.975143 %

Thank you for your reply! FM would definitely be a better way to do this, I'll definitely encorporate this method.

Just one other quick question, say I wanted to add this FM wave to another FM wave, i.e a 1V amplitude +-10Hz/83.68Hz with FM Index of 11.95%, how would this be done?

The only method I know of adding signals is in the custom wavegen tab but I can't find any option for adding modulated waves. I greatly appreciate your help in this again.

You can add two Wavegen outputs. W1 -> R -> Sig <- R <- W2
To not to exceed the AD2 W1/2 10mA drive, to prevent limitation clipping use 500Rs. This depends on voltage levels you want.
