FMC-CE Alternative?

Hi there,

I am actually looking for a PMOD to FMC converter and happen to come across this FMC-CE board. However it seems like this board has been discontinued. May I know if anybody knows of a replacement/alternative for this board?

Hi @Incognito,

Digilent does not have any alternatives to the FMC-CE board (I'm also presuming that you are looking for an FMC to Pmod converter as going the other way from Pmod ports on the host board to an FMC expansion connector for an external module will likely not meet the speed requirements you need for FMC as Pmod pins are not routed to the appropriate high-speed banks on an FPGA).

It looks like there is some sort of breakout board that got posted on hackster.io here: https://www.hackster.io/Rekabraham/fmc-lpc-lowest-cost-breakout-board-7bf8ec, though I've never looked into it or used it so I'm not able to vouch for its quality in any way.
