Hi,

I have tried to install previous WaveForms  as V3.7.5, 3.12.2, 3.13.3, etc... AnalogDiscovery2 works on these versions on WindowsXP, no problem.

But ADP3250 is not available on these version. So I tried v3.16.3 and 3.17.1, both are 32bit on WindowXP... But there will be error during install, massag box is there is no "IPHLPAPI.DLL"...

So I need to use ADP3250 on WindowsXP. Could you help me my situation?

Hi @attila,

Now I bought 2 of ADP3250 and 2 of AnalogDiscovery2... For only use from WInXP... Because there is description about WindowsXP availability on WaveForms web page...

I have tried to use WaveForms on v3.12.1 then I can see hardware name "ADP3250", but no supported...

Also I am using the SDK and trying to compile the x86 build but there is LNK4272 error like "LNK4272 library machine type 'x64' conflicts with target machine type 'X86'".

Latest WaveForms ver, also not available... I have tried 5 of previous WaveForms ver, I couldn't see the hardware name...

Could you help to build to support on x86 for WinXP? Any ver is OK.

Regards,

Hi @tmk2z

The WF for 64bit Windows systems installs both 32 and 64 bit variants of dwf.dlls
The 32/64 WF installer name only refers to the application. Both contain both variants of dwf.dlls

From custom application you only have to refer as dwf.dll The system will automatically load the proper variant, see Windows/System32 or SysWOW64 swapping concept.

For static linking applications the 32/64 bit libs can be found in the SDK folder.

We are working on the Win XP question.
The official support for this OS ended 12 years ago. The 3rd party drivers are no longer supported for this OS, security risks...
