0 JColvin
Hi @joniengr081, I don't believe there is a PYNQ image available for the Zybo Z7-20. There is a PYNQ Z1 image for the PYNQ-Z1 board available on the pynq.io community site here, http://www.pynq.io/board.html, but I am not aware of anything that has been specifically made for the Zybo Z7-20. In terms of making your own PYNQ image, the pynq.io community, https://pynq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting_started/other_boards.html, would be better resource to get accurate information on how to do that than the staff here on the Digilent forums. It seems like you were previously asking about Petalinux (though it looks like you deleted that original question), though as per our GitHub page for it, https://github.com/Digilent/Petalinux-Zybo-Z7-20, the last release was for Petalinux 2017.4. I have heard that Digilent would like to get newer release versions available, but I have not seen any progress made towards that as of yet. 0 joniengr081
@JColvin, thanks for your reply. Just for clarification, do you mean that PYNQ Z1 image can be used in SD Card to start developing Python applications for Zybo Z7-20 ?
0 JColvin
Hi @joniengr081, I do not think it can be used directly as it was developed for different hardware and a different SoC chip. But it might be able to be used as a baseline for development. It looks like making an image is fairly straightforward though glancing through their guide, https://pynq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pynq_sd_card.html#pynq-sd-card.
