ASIO support in Waveforms software

Hello!

I'm not sure if I see ASIO connected soundcards in Waveforms software. I have a EMU0202 and wanna use it as sound card with 192k/sec sample rate.

As an input device I can configure it for microphone input and 192k. But I cannot locate it as output device to use it as output for the waveform component. So in sum, loopback measurement is not possible.

What bit-depths are supported?

Please clarify the working of Waveforms with ASIO devices. Thank you!

Hi @HK2

Make sure the proper drivers are installed and configured.

From software all formats and sample rate up to 384kHz are supported but it depends on the underlaying libraries/drivers/hardware what is natively supported or "emulated".
The latest beta version increases the audio-output buffer which is useful at higher rate, bits and more channels:
