etl17
It seems that I am getting very low resolution on the measurement of Ic when I use the transistor tester adaptor. Please take a look at the attachment.
attila
Hi @etl17 The expected range for the current is calculated based on the maximum voltage / resistor. pic1: With Vrc above 2.5V the high range of the Scope input is used, ~25V, ~250mA max, ~30uA resolution pic2: With Vrc 2.5V or lower the low range of the Scope input is used, ~2.5V, ~25mA max, ~3uA resolution pic3: I've added IMax options in the latest software version which can be used to specify the maximum expected current. Thank you for the observation.
etl17
Awesome! Thank you Attila! The new option makes the transistor tester a great tool for measuring characteristics on small signal devices. In combination with the impedance analyzer and the rest of the instruments, AD2 has become a truly great little tool!
