JColvin
Hello, You can set the baud rate as well as well as other settings such as parity and flow control through a terminal emulator on your host PC such as TeraTerm or PuTTY via the micro USB port on the PmodUSBUART. You would then also have to setup these same configurations internally on your host board that interfaces with the Pmod header side. According to the FTDI datasheet for the embedded part, baud rates ranging from 181 baud to 3 Mbaud can be achieved for the part, although naturally you will be limited by what your hardware or computer can accomplish. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks, JColvin
