DMM shield for arduino

Hi @Grant G,

The answer is possibly, but not notably faster. As per the embedded HY3131 chip (datasheet linked in the DMM Shield Resource Center), it reports a data output rate of 5Hz.

Looking through some of the code details in the DMM Shield Arduino Library User Guide, it looks like there are some delays added in for the functions reporting data, which could potentially be removed or shortened. However, I don't know if this would affect any processing time needed by either the Arduino UNO or the the HY3131 chip. I also don't have a DMM Shield with me at my home office to test this.

Thanks,
JColvin
