To Whom it may concern,

 

I have a couple technical questions about your product  that I could not found on your manual, I would appreciate if you can help me with that.

 

1. How many times (max) the part JTAG-SMT3-NC can be baked after mounted on a board?

2. Can we wash the part JTAG-SMT3-NC?

3. Can we hand solder the part JTAG-SMT3-NC? If so, What is the max in temperature is allowed?

Hi @Sanara,

I have received the following details.

1. How many times can the module be baked after mounting? -- The board can be reflowed up to two times after being mounted.
2. Can we wash the module? -- Yes, the module can be safely washed with a solvent cleaning fluid. You will need to be careful to keep it away from glass though to avoid cracking, as shown in the pictures in this post here.
3. Max temperature for hand soldering? -- The module can be hand soldered but should not exceed 385 degrees Celsius.
