ibutter
Is there a way to access the AD2 board's Vcc rail, to compare the digital I/O's against? Could someone point me to a solderable pad on the board? I can't use the power supplies as I'm using them for another independent output control task. ibutter
The only place I've found is at the USB input, but the solder pad opportunity is slim
attila
Hi @ibutter Do you need access to the VBUS (USB 5V), VCC5V0 (USB/AUX 5V), DVCC3V3 (digital 3.3V) ?https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/analog-discovery-2/reference-manual#power_supplies_and_controlhttps://reference.digilentinc.com/analog_discovery_2/refmanual#figure_32
ibutter
Any of those should be fine for my needs. I'm currently just supplying direct from USB power via another USB port. I've not been able to find a decent sized solder pad. Any ideas appreciated!
attila
Hi @ibutter Such operation will void the warranty. On the bottom of the board under the USB connector you have access to the USB 5V/GND directly (middle pads) and the VBUS/GND after the filter ferrites (external pads) On the top after the "T" from 'Digilent' logo you can find two caps with the GND/DVCC3V3 and on the board edge the GND/VCC5V0.https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/analog-discovery-2/reference-manual#power_supplies_and_control
