Carmine86
Does anybody know Analog Discovery 2 accuracy when it is used to generate a sinusoidal wave at 50 Hz ? I looked for it on datasheet device, but it seems not be reported. Can you help me?
attila
Hi @Carmine86 The AD2 uses DSC1101, low jitter and high stability oscillator:https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/analog-discovery-2/reference-manual#clock_generatorhttp://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/20005613B.pdf The AWG/Wavegen output is generated from lookup-table with fractional increment, so a wide range of frequencies (u-M) are very close to the requested one. Here you can see some backward calculated frequencies from the increment, generated frequency considering ideal oscillator. The generator accuracy is better than 1ppm.
