Pmod with a piezo sensor

johnsan1

Question

Hello, I'm doing a project for school and I wanted to make sure the items I'm buying will be able to work together. I have two pmods from diligent: Pmod TC1: K-Type Thermocouple Module with Wire and Pmod WiFi: WiFi Interface 802.11g. And a piezo sensor I found in digikey: 223-1225-ND . Will the piezo sensor be able to work with the both of them? Thank you.

Hi @johnsan1,

I'm not certain which exact piezo sensor you are looking at (since the datasheet for the piezo sensor had a variety of sensors), but based on the one that matches the image, I think it would be compatible with the system board. Realistically, the piezo sensor would not affect the functionality of either the Pmod TC1 or the Pmod WiFi and it would matter if it is compatible with your intended system board. Do you happen to know what system board you are intending to use?

Thanks,
JColvin

I am using a nexys A7: fpga trainer board and the piezo is a dt series with lead attachment.

(Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I'm new to the forum.)

Thank you.
