Nexys Video DSPI Transfer

Roy0215

Question

Hi,

I'm making a SPI slave project and programing it onto my FPGA.

Now I need to transfer data from my PC to FPGA for the purpose of verification. The reference manual shows that the USB prog connector J12 can be used to implememt the SPI transfer, where the FT2232H acts as a SPI master.

I wonder if the Adept 2 tool in the picture below can be used to control the transfer?

If it doesn't work, are there any other tools I can use to control it (like setting clock frequency, SPI mode etc)?

Hi @Roy0215,

Please clarify the statement " I want to know how to transfer data between PC and FPGA by the DSPI functionality". The Adept 2 SDK facilitates this communication. We do not share the source code for the DSPI API or the programming solution publicly. The Adept 2 SDK information linked to above has the DSPI library reference guide and DSPI example code. These  functions allow users to make custom programs that utilize the available DSPI functions. The  DSPI example is a good reference for using the DSPI API.

thank you,

Jon
