Hi @RallyTronics,

The programming circuit of the Cora Z7 is considered proprietary. This is why the USB PROG page on the Cora Z7 schematic is left blank intentionally.

How are you trying to use the USB UART RX and TX?

If you are trying to use a Verilog/VHDL UART controller on the USB UART RX and TX pins it will not work. The USB UART bridge is connected directly to the PS of the ZYNQ processor on the Cora Z7 development board.

If you are wanting to further discuss the proprietary programming circuit of the Cora Z7 schematic you will need to contact "support dot digilent at ni dot com".

cheers,

Jon

Hi @RallyTronics,

Are you using the Digilent board files? Here is the install tutorial for the board files. Please download Adept 2 here? Does Adept 2 recognize the Cora Z7? What OS are you using on your PC?  Your block design should be the just the Zynq processor with FCLK_CLK0 connected to the M_AXI GP0_ACLK as shown with the attached screen shot. Run block automation as default(board files) when the Digilent board files are being used.

thank you,

Jon
