mrpackethead
I'm wondering if anyone has ported FreeRTOS + TCP to Microblaze, so that it can run on the Arty? The FreeRTOS IP stack is much easier to use than FWIP. I think we probably can use the Eth? aclite
jpeyron
Hi @mrpackethead, Unfortunately As far as I can tell there has not been a port for the FreeRTOS + TCP to Microblaze. As discussed in other threads there is for the zynq processors here. I would suggest to reach out to FreeRTOS support about incorporating the microblaze processor here. thank you, Jon
mrpackethead
I have been looking at it, and talking to one of the main developers at FreeRTOS, and hes given me some pointers on what needs to be done. This would be a great thing to do, as FreeRTOS+TCP is quite a lot easier to use than LWIP.... Trying to line up the ducks.. Digilent, Xilinx and FreeRTOS.. All fun.
