Vishwanath
Hi, I am getting kernel panic while booting Zedboard. I have attached the boot up logs. Can some one help me to understand if this is the SD Card partition issue, or the issue with kernel itself? I am using SanDisk 8GB SD Card for this purpose. jpeyron
Hi @Vishwanath, Sorry for the late reply. It looks like it was not able to find a file system. It tried ext3,ext2,ext4 vfat, msdos. "No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext3 ext2 ext4 vfat msdos" . I would suggest to look through this tutorial on how to install petalinux here. Here is an Instructable on how to install Petalinux on the zedboard/Zybo as well. Here is the Zedboard Programming Guide in SDK that might be helpful with generating a bootloader in general. It suggest to have a fat32 formatted SD card. thank you, Jon
