Spartan 3A starter Kit Power supply

Hello Everyone!,

I have a Spartan 3A starter kit from Digilent. I was using the kit since a year for my projects. Today was my bad luck  ?

By mistake, I connected a 9Volt power supply adapter!! Actually, I have two similar sized and similar looking power supply adapter(one from the spartan kit -5V, other was to power a GPS sensor -9V).

Now the board doesn't power up. I just see the red power LED on. But other LEDs like AWAKE, INIT, and 8 discrete LEDs are not on!!. 

Does this mean that the board/components are damaged? Or is there something I can do to restore the board? Like tiny fuses or something for protection on board?

Please let me know in case if there is a way to fix this. I am a student and I miss my board ?

Here is the Spartan 3A starter kit schematic. Here is the Spartan 3A starter kit users guide.  Please use a DMM and measure the voltage at the following capacitors around the voltage regulator: C230, C231, C57, C232, C233, C234, C235, C227, C226, C246 and C247.
