PMOD Connector for cabling

mgravenstein

Question

I am looking for a method of creating cables for the Nexsys4 DDR boards to connect multiple boards together via the PMOD and a cable to connect to my specific debugger probe. I have found this connector

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171330540572?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

and made several cables. It works but is not completely satisfactory. The issue is the mechanical connection between this male connector and the female PMOD is not reliably secure, especially for high speed signals.

Does anyone have a solution other than two of these  https://store.digilentinc.com/pmodtph2-12-pin-test-point-header/  plus two of these http://www.amazon.com/Accessories--Connectors-25-Pack-Sockets-Connectors/dp/B015E5MPYY/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1456182709&sr=1-3&keywords=2x6+pin+idc+connector connected to the breakout header.

Thanks.

Hello,

We are using standard (2x) 6 pin connector, 100 mil spaced.

Here are some more details about the Pmod connector https://www.digilentinc.com/Pmods/Digilent-Pmod_%20Interface_Specification.pdf.

You can think on using 2x6-pin-cable http://store.digilentinc.com/2x6-pin-cable/ (It also provides a useful pin header) found on our Accessories page http://store.digilentinc.com/all-products/accessories/?.sort=featured&page=2 or any other standard (2x) 6 pin connector, 100 mil spaced available on the market.
