Unused Control Signals on JTAG-SMT3 Programmer

If one wants to interface the UART signals to Zynq PS UARTs on the Xilinx Zynq parts, the control signals are unavailabe.  Any recommendations how to connect the unused  RTS/CTS of the smt3?  Ground, leave floating, etc?

Hi @avbeed,

I reached out to one of our design engineers about your post and they responded :

"If I understand this correctly I think what the customer is saying is that the Zynq PS UART lacks the RTS and CTS flow control signals. If that’s the case, then just leave them floating on the JTAG-SMT3 and when you open the UART in your terminal application configure it with the flow control application set to “none”. "
