electricalg Posted June 7, 2018 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Bought CMOD S6 and installed SW (digilent.adept.system_v2.17.1). Initially the board was recognized and I was able to program the FPGA. But SW only detected the FPGA and not the PROM ? is there something wrong with the board ? When I use the impact tool (Xilinx) to program PROM get the following : The initialization fails ( too many devices on the chain). When the FPGA is added manually the device ID fails (read vs expected not the same). When I try to program the FPGA or the PROM both fail . In advance thanks for the help .. Please attach a screen shot of iMPACT with the Cmod S6 connected.
