USB-1808X and DASYLab software question

This is my encoder's data sheet and its model is 8235 shown in the image below. When I try to use the settings you have shown I only get some oscillation between 0 and some random value as shown in the image below. How do I get the count value to use for calculating how much the encoder has turned which is supposed to increase the count number in clockwise and decrease it ccw. Hello, I am trying to use DASYLab to measure the position of a wheel using a quadrature encoder I am not sure what settings to pick to accomplish this.

Hello, I want to read position data on a quadrature encoder from my USB-1808X these seem to be all the options available, what configuration I have to choose to get angular position of the encoder? The encoder pins are connected to ENC0A and ENC0B. Best regards.

Hello, I am trying to get data from my quadrature encoder, when I try to connect to the ENCA and ENCB channels I don’t get any data the counts stay at 0, it works fine when it is connected to the ctr0 and ctr1 channels but I need to get position instead of just the count so I need to use A and B channels. This is the only option for the counter input on the DAQami software, how do I get quadrature encoder data from DAQami software?
