  1. Do any of the Raspberry Pi DAQ HATS come with a counter input channel? From what I can tell, none of them do. Does anyone have experience measuring encoder signals with a RasPi DAQ HAT from MCC? Any recommendations for other HATs for RasPi that work well with incremental encoders?
  2. Can the USB-231 be used with a Raspberry Pi? I like that the USB-231 is powered via USB 5V, and it has the necessary channels and resolution I am looking for. From my understanding, it can be controlled using Python libraries on a Linux device (i.e. the RasPi). I'm just wondering if anyone has experimented with this before. I like the DAQ HATS for the Pi (MCC 128), but it doesn't look like any of them come with a counter input channel, which is one of the reasons I'm looking at the USB-231.
