  1. Hello @MFrandsen, It is working on my Zybo Z7 (10) board. Here the J-Link ist connected to J13 and the board is powered by the external 5V supply. The J-Link commander find the CPU, and the Hardware Manager from Vivado (2022.1) could connect with the help of xvcd. Best regards, Michael
  2. Hello Digilent Support Team, I think there are wrong settings in the board files for Zybo Z7 10 and 20. Here the APU frequency should be 667MHz, but therefore the ARMPLL_CTRL_FBDIV was wrong with 39. With 39 and a crystal of 33.33MHz, this produce a PLL frequency of 33.333MHz x 39 = 1300MHz, but with a CPU divisor of 2, this will result in a CPU frequency of 650MHz and not 667MHz. Please take a look at the PR I have created: https://github.com/Digilent/vivado-boards/pull/44 Best regards, Michael
  3. Hello @JColvin, >though I am not certain why you would want to do this as the JTAG chain will not allow two simultaneous connections to the same FPGA. I will not use both simultaneously. I want to connect a J-Link to the additional JTAG connector and test if the "xvcd-jlink" is working with my Digilent boards too. The power will supply by the USB-JTAG, and the JTAG functionality will be used from the J-Link. You can find more about the xvcd-jlink project here at GitHub: https://github.com/playduck/xvcd-jlink Best regards, Michael
  4. Hello Digilent Support Team, I have a general question about the protection in case of using an external JTAG adapter. In case of an Arty-A7 board, the board can be powered by the on board USB-JTAG circuit (port J10). At the same time there exist the possibility to use an external JTAG programmer attached to port J8. Is it save to use an external JTAG programmer if the board is powered by the on board USB-JTAG? I looks that both, the on board USB-JTAG and the external JTAG drives the lines to the FPGA. The external JTAG has only 100 ohm resistors inside the lines. How is it handled that the lines from the USB-JTAG will not be driven? The same with other boards like the Zybo-Z7. Best regards, Michael
