Just two quick questions from a newbie.
1) Will I be able to measure on the Scope a 100VDC signal that is derived from mains? I plan to use a 10:1 probe.
2) Can I cause any damage by exceeding the 25V input limit on the analogue inputs?
Many Thanks
Andy
Hi @AndyHook1970
2. The recommended maximum voltage for scope inputs of Analog Discovery (1&2) is ±25V (50V differential) and the absolute maximum is ±50V.
Exceeding the abs max could damage the device. See: https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/analog-discovery-2/reference-manual#scope_input_divider_and_gain_selection
1. With 10x probe you could measure up to ±250V, but be cautions when working with high voltages.
